Meet our CXO's

As described earlier the USP of our business is the 150 senior executives that are based around the globe and are prepared to pass on their knowledge and tips for success to our clients. A sample of profiles are available for you to review below.

CXO 1 - Consulting

This CXO is an experienced business leader with thirty two years  industry and consulting experience. Functionally he has worked in enterprise sales, customer marketing, customer service, business change and big data analytics.

He has conducted business across EMEA, the US, SE Asia and Australia and lived in the UK and US.

He was a Partner at a Tier 1 global consulting firm for ten years and latterly was part of the Executive Management team that did a VC-backed start up, growth and successful exit of an analytics software business. He has sold to and consulted with enterprise clients such as Vodafone, 02, BT, Bank of Ireland, Aviva, Capital One, ANZ Bank, Coles FS, Sainsburys, GSK, Diageo, Land Rover, Bosch, Shell and British Gas.

He now works as an independent consultant and coaches the leaders of a growth consultancy as well as being part of the Youd Andrews CXO network.

CXO 3 - FMCG/Telco

This CXO’s blue-chip executive career is impressive, being a balanced combination of FMCG and technology, covering all three business pillars. His CV speaks for itself, including CEO appointments at both C&W and Northrop Grumman, as well as CxO roles in Unilever and the M&M/Mars corporation. Currently he is engaged in PE portfolio management where he specialises in joining up business solutions to realise a whole business benefit.

Currently he holds two non-executive posts as well as recently being the CMO at an IT transformational change restructuring company headquartered at New York and London. This CXO has now developed that function, recruited the permanent CMO and going forward is supporting the business in its’ acquisition by CSC.

A scientist by education, his first degree was in Chemistry/Biochemistry, and his postgraduate economics and business studies were undertaken at IMD Lausanne, Switzerland; INSEAD, Paris; MIT, Boston; and Henley, UK.

A keen aircraft pilot and yacht sailor, he shares his time between the USA and UK – where the family home is located.

CXO 5 - Manufacturing

This CXO has extensive international experience at Board & Executive Management levels in the development of business transformation strategies.

He was CIO for a number of global companies operating in both the Manufacturing and Oil and gas sectors.

CXO 7 - Financial Services

This CXO enjoyed a 30+ year career with Barclays Group in UK, Europe, USA and Latin America, managing businesses at Country, Channel and Product line levels in CEO, COO and CFO roles.

He has extensive experience of corporate finance and capital markets  having completed 20 M&A transactions and a track record of  launching new businesses, improving profit performance and managing transformation across borders and cultures.

Since leaving corporate life, he works as an NED on the boards  of a number of  young innovative  technology companies in areas like, big data  and analytics, digital transformation, cyber security,  digital detection and software efficiency.

He has an extensive interest in innovation and is one of the founders of a Thought Leader forum that brings together innovative technology driven companies with institutional investors and entrepreneurs.

CXO 9 - Public Sector

Public Sector Digital Leader of the 2nd largest IT Organisation in the UK.

Achieving business transformation through the delivery of real time information and secure online transactions via, at peak load, the third busiest website in the world.

Directing the development, implementation and management of massive multiple websites and secure online services.

Partnering with global commercial software suppliers to guarantee the best products and customer experience for end-users.

Recognised by peers for expertise in Business Strategy, Stakeholder Management, Transformation and Change and being an inspirational and enthusiastic leader of people.

CXO 2 - Financial Services

This CXO is the former CEO and President of Jefferies Execution Services, Inc., the NYSE Brokerage affiliate of Jefferies & Co., Inc.

Prior to assuming the CEO position, he served as the Chief Administrative Officer of Jefferies Execution Services orchestrating the conversion of electronic trading platforms at the NYSE. As a facilitator of change, he was instrumental in helping both the NYSE and Jefferies adapt to the new demands of electronic trading of NYSE securities. His understanding of the Operations component of securities trading enhanced the process of adapting to a new way of trading securities, creating both value and revenue generation opportunities for Jefferies.

His skill strength lies in understanding how a cohesive operations and technology platform combine to formulate a solid business model to maximize revenue and build resiliency in the business platform.

He has also developed a keen sense for business survival and disaster planning during his Operations Control position at Morgan Stanley. He was the principal architect of Morgan Stanley’s operational disaster planning after the 1993 bombing of the 2 WTC garage and created the plan foundation that was used after the 9/11 terrorist attack at the WTC.

Prior to 1987, He worked as an International Branch implementation Manager at Bankers Trust Company. In this position, he was responsible for building the operational components of foreign branch units of Bankers Trust on several continents.

CXO 4 - Telco/Manufacturing

Following a successful career in the IT Professional Services industry in various roles at Ericsson, Siemens, Unisys and Cap Gemini, this CXO joined BT Cellnet which then became O2 plc.

As O2’s UK CIO, she reported into the CEO and helped O2 become one of the most successful mobile operators in the FTSE 100 and the extremely competitive UK Telecommunications market.

She then joined Northern Foods – a UK and Ireland based food manufacturer supplying to all of the key supermarkets and a major UK airline.

As Group CIO, she established a new team whose remit was to build and maintain effective business relationships across the company, at all levels, by demonstrating the business value in all of the services her directorate delivered.

CXO 6 - Financial Services

This CXO has worked in financial services for over 30 years sitting on boards and executive committees as CEO, CMO and CTO.

He is now chairman of a listed bank and a non executive director of one of Europe’s largest retailers.

In addition, he is an ILM Level 7 accredited coach and is highly experienced working with boards in the U.K. and internationally.

CXO 8 - Financial Services

This CXO has 35 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry mainly in Insurance.

He became the Global CIO, and then Global COO for Zurich’s Life Insurance business, where he managed budgets of in excess of $1bn.

He has significant experience in delivering multi country transformation programmes to change the IT back office and customer facing operating models.

CXO 10 - Automotive & Media

This CXO started life with Ford Motor Company as a graduate, and moved to Nissan to run their Sales & Marketing operation for their European Aftersales Operation based in Amsterdam.

A move into media led this CXO to become the CMO of Yellow Pages with a focus on growth strategies. He is now Non Executive Chairman of a Medtech business.
